Purchased at the Portobello Market in London, it features rows of horizontal and vertical fagoting on the front yoke with a row of lace insertion to join the full gathered skirt. The neckline and the long sleeves are finished with soft white lace. The dress has a back yoke with vertical fagoting and closes with four shell buttons. The full skirt has four rows of horizontal fagoting on the front and is finished with a deep 2¼" hem topped with hemstitching.
