Heirloom 1920s White Batiste Pintucked Dress with Embroidered Collar
Heirloom Toddler Clothes: Heirloom Children's Dresses
This lovely white cotton batiste dress was hand made in the Philippines in the 1920s. It features the tiniest pintucks across the entire front and back bodice with two rows extending down to the dropped waist. Typical of Edwardian toddler stuyle garments, the original peach silk wide ribbon is inserted through wide eyelets at the pintucked dropped waist. Horizontal pintucks trim the 2½" faced hem. The collar is delicately embroidered and the long pintucked sleeves are finished with turned back cuffs. The dress closes in the back with six shell buttons.
A stunning heirloom portrait dress, baptism dress, or special occasion dress for your little girl!
