Heirloom 1920s Delicate White Gown with Embroidery, Openwork, and Palest Pink Ribbon Insertion
Heirloom Baby Gowns: Heirloom Christening Gowns
This stunning white cotton lawn dress was made in England in the 1920s. It features rows of embroidery and lace insertion on the yoke centered by five tiny diagonal pintucks. The neckline and the mid-length puffed sleeves are edged with soft white lace. Below a row of ribbon insertion threaded with palest pink ribbon with a pink ribbon rosette falls a very full skirt. The most exquisite feature of this gown is the 15" of elaborate embroidery and openwork around the entire skirt, finishing in a scalloped hem. The dress closes in the back with two shell buttons on a pintucked yoke.
A remarkable heirloom christening gown, baptism gown, or dedication gown for your baby girl!
