This lovely heirloom white bib has a layer of beautifully hand embroidered batiste featuring flowers and tiny eyelets with a scalloped edge with lace trim over a second layer also with scalloped edge and lace trim. Made in the 1940s, these "dribble bibs" were meant to protect baby's finer clothing.
This slightly larger dressy bib likely closed with a small baby pin but a snap closure has been added for modern convenience. A perfect accessory with any of the heirloom or classic dresses for a christening or other important occasion!
