This lovely embroidered white batiste gown was handmade in the 1920s or early 1930s. It features a scalloped neckline above a delicate embroidered design. A band of fagoting defines the gathered yoke. The very full skirt falls to a scalloped embroidered hem. The long sleeves end with scalloped embroidered cuffs. The back gathers to a rounded yoke and closes with two tiny buttons.
This would make a beautiful heirloom christening gown for an infant or a wonderful dress for a toddler.
