From the 1940s, this beautiful handmade blue batiste dress by Feltman Brothers features six sets of pintucks on the bodice and an appliqued design of white squares and flowers with drawnwork on the collar and 3 1/2 hem. Short puffed sleeves with turned back cuffs are edged in white. The back neck opening closes with three tiny mother of pearl buttons.
Also included is a white batiste slip with blue scalloped neckline, armholes, and hem. The slip, which closes on the shoulder with a tiny button, is delicately embroidered at the bottom. This little slip could be worn alone as a darling summer sundress!
