The white bodice features a blue gingham insert accented with a tiny button. The shoulder ruffles are a lovely soft raspberry color edged with blue gingham. Appliqued on the white skirt is the cutest little elephant with buttons for eyes. Elephants were a favorite theme in 1950s childrens' clothing. The shoulder straps cross in the back and attach to the elasticized waist with buttons. The pinafore ties in the back with a 2" white sash. A great retro gift for any little girl!
