Please be aware that bonnet sizes are approximate. There are so many variations in baby's head sizes that it's difficult to predict whether a bonnet sized 3 to 6 months will, in fact, fit your 4 month old. Included below is a link to a size chart that shows the average baby's head size as well as the usual range of head sizes by baby's age. We've grouped our bonnets into sizes small (generally preemie to newborn), medium (3 to 9 months), and large (12 to 24 months). We even have darling bonnets and hats in extra-large sizes for toddlers. If you are in doubt about what size to order, please measure baby's head circumference horizontally just above the eyebrows and ask us before ordering. We want to make sure it's just the right size for your little angel!
