It is backed with a double padded cotton layer. Made in the 1920s, this unusual little bib has ribbon would have been pinned to the baby's garment at the sides with baby pins. We can add silk ribbons to tie in the back if you don't wish to pin it. This bib closes with a tiny shell button and loop. What a unique gift for a special new baby!
