Made of the softest organic cotton batiste, it features a pintucked yoke with delicate cotton lace and fagoting. The long batiste sleeves are edged with lace. The pintucks and lace are repeated vertically down the front of the skirt and again horizontally above the scalloped lace trimmed hem. The dress buttons in the back. The matching batiste slip is equally beautiful, with rows of pintucks above the eyelet ruffled hem. A beautiful matching bonnet is included. This stunning vintage style gown is now available in two lengths. The original style is a very long gown, true to vintage style, at 36" as pictured. Based on customer requests, the manufacturer created a bit shorter gown at 27". Labeled as mid-length, this "shorter" gown is about the same length of most of today's christening gowns.
