This lovely pale yellow cotton batiste dress was hand made in the Philippines in the 1940s. It features tiny pintucking on the front and larger tucks on the back with delicate white embroidery and openwork. The neckline is finished with scalloped embroidery, as are the short puffed sleeve cuffs. The dress closes in the back with two small buttons and is finished with a scalloped embroidered hem topped by delicate white embroidery and openwork.
